PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the appearance of a blade rubber by making inconspicuous the burrs produced on the blade rubber. SOLUTION: The blade rubber 17 to be attached to a wiper blade to wipe off the window glass of a vehicle is formed from a rubber material by a molding device 31 into a rod shape having a section approximately uniform in the longitudinal direction. The molding device 31 has a first molding die 32 and a second molding die 33 arranged making relative movement in the width direction of the blade rubber 17, wherein the mutually mating surfaces 34 and 35 of the molding dies 32 and 33 are put together so as to form a molding chamber 36 which is to be filled with the rubber material. The mating surfaces 34 and 35 are provided on the base part 21 of the blade rubber 17 so as to be identical to the angle parts 41 and 42 extending from one end in the longitudinal direction straight to the other end, and at the end in the longitudinal direction, in such a way as identical to the periphery of the end face of the blade rubber 17.
