Maintenance work is carried out while the shape of a track rail and the positions of structures are being highly accurately grasped by the use of positional data, detected by a GPS, of a maintenance vehicle. A track rail maintenance system has a positioning data acquisition means (412) for decoding a positioning signal to acquire positioning data, a positional data acquisition means (411) for acquiring positional data of the maintenance vehicle based on the rotation of a specified axle provided on the vehicle, and a comparison and determination means (413) for comparing, at a maintenance work start waypoint that is set based on track shape/structure database, positioning data and positional data to detect whether or not the difference between the two is within a predetermined range. If the comparison and determination means (413) determines that the difference is not within the predetermined range, the positional data is corrected. |
