<p>The present invention relates to methods for administration of natriuretic peptide that are especially useful for treatment of a CHF patient. The methods are characterized by the serial and intermittent administration of a composition that provides a dose of natriuretic peptide. The methods of the invention are also useful for the treatment of chronic CHF patients, especially chronically decompensated CHF patients.</p>
