<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mitigate an impact in mounting/dismounting a unit and to clarify operating procedure at such a time. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus 1, a drum unit 10 equipped with a photoreceptor drum 11 and a developing unit 20 equipped with a developing sleeve 22 arranged to be opposed to the photoreceptor drum 11 when the units are connected are separately constituted, and the drum unit 10 and the developing unit 20 are mounted to an image forming apparatus main body 2 in this order. Then, an operating knob 15 is provided to a guide frame 16 fixed in the unit main body 10A of the drum unit 10 via a damper device 50, and the impact caused on the developing unit 20 in mounting the developing unit 20 is mitigated by the damper device 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
