<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell power generator not requiring a purge gas supply means and with little deterioration. <P>SOLUTION: In this fuel cell, an oxidizer electrode and a fuel electrode are filled with fuel gas containing hydrogen gas during stop, the oxidizer electrode is applied with a potential positive to the fuel electrode to electrochemically move the hydrogen gas contained in the fuel gas from the oxidizer electrode to the fuel electrode through an electrolyte film during start-up, and oxidation gas is supplied to the oxidizer electrode and the fuel gas is supplied to the fuel electrode during operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
