<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mouth member having a thin wall section capable of being easily broken and more easily unsealed even if the thin wall section to be broken for unsealing is made in a uniform thickness, and a container using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The mouth member 10 to be attached to a container is used to seal a spout for a content of the container, and the spout is unsealed by twisting and breaking the tip of the member without allowing resealing of the spout. A stepped protrusion 18 for threading is protrusively provided at the tip of the spout 16 of the mouth member 10, and an inner hole 22 having a circular cross section formed in the tip of a flow path within the spout 16 is provided at a position located a predetermined distance away from the root of the protrusion 18 for threading toward the tip of the protrusion 18 for threading. A thin wall section 24 of a circular cylindrical shape concentric with the inner hole 22 is provided on the root, and the end face of the closing side of the inner hole 22 is formed into a recessed curved face 26, the depth of which increases toward the axis of the inner hole from the periphery T of the inner hole.
