PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet ink excellent in durability and sticking-restoration property.

SOLUTION: The inkjet ink, used for an inkjet recording device equipped with a recording head having a liquid-contacting surface in an exothermic part comprised of at least one compound of a metal and a metallic oxide, comprises a compound represented by general formula (I) or a salt thereof as a coloring material, glycerine and an etherified derivative of butynediol, where the content of the derivative is at least 0.2 mass% and at most 3.0 mass% based on the whole mass of the inkjet ink. In the formula, R1is a hydrogen atom, or an alkyl, hydroxy-lower alkyl, cyclohexyl, mono- or di-alkylaminoalkyl or cyano-lower alkyl group, and R2, R3, R4, R5and R6are each independently a hydrogen atom, a 1-8C alkyl group or a carboxyl group with the proviso that a case where all of R2, R3, R4, R5and R6are simultaneously a hydrogen atom is excluded.
