<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a local information provision system for providing local information filtered in correspondence to attribute information, to a user holding a mobile terminal. <P>SOLUTION: This local information provision system includes a server provided with a local information database, and a personal digital assistant provided with an information storage medium the user by the user, and the local information database is stored with positional information or local identification information, and the local information stored correlated with the positional information or local identification information.
