PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a skin-integrated foam molded article, capable of surely positioning and holding of an insert member relative to a skin material with a simple structure and operation, and a skin-integrated foam molded article obtained by this method. SOLUTION: The skin-integrated foam molded article formed of a skin material 1, an insert member 2 placed in the skin material 1, and a core 6 which is formed by the foam molding of a foam resin material in the skin material 1 with the insert member 2 buried therein, is positioned in the core 6 of the insert material 2 with a positioning material 5 fitted to the insert member 2 and buried in the core 6. This institution allows the insert member 2 to be arranged in an appropriate position in the core 6, thereby an appropriate strength performance of the skin-integrated foam molded article is secured and an appropriate elastic characteristic of the core 6 is obtained, with improved touch in use of the skin-integrated foam molded article and improved reliability in use.
