PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording tape cartridge capable of preventing a leader tape from falling down from a slot part by a simple structure without increasing the number of components. SOLUTION: The recording tape cartridge 10 is equipped with a case 12 in which a single reel 18 with a recording tape T wound thereon is rotatably housed, the leader tape 22 which is attached to the end of the recording tape T and has a hole part 24 engaged by the drawing out member of a drive unit, and an overhanging part 26 overhanging in the width direction of the recording tape T, the slot part 50 which is formed in the case 12 and houses and holds the overhanging part 26, wherein rugged parts 56 to 62 are formed on the inside of the slot part 50.
