PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage medium accommodation apparatus wherein the range of sliding movement of a panel for opening and closing a plurality of storage medium insertion ports is reduced. SOLUTION: The storage medium accommodation apparatus includes 1st and 2nd insertion ports 2a, 2b provided on the principal face of a case 2, and 1st and 2nd panels 3, 4 for opening and closing these 1st and 2nd insertion ports 2a, 2b, respectively. When the 1st and 2nd insertion ports 2a, 2b are closed with the 1st and 2nd panels 3, 4, the 1st and 2nd panels 3, 4 are brought into contact with each other, and when exposing the 2nd insertion port 2b, the 2nd panel 4 is slidably moved in a particular direction, and when exposing the 1st insertion port 2a, the 2nd panel 4 and the 1st panel 3 are slidably moved integrally with each other in the particular direction.
