PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cationic ultraviolet-curing resin composition having good adhesion to a thin film, etc., of an inorganic compound, such as glass, metal, silicon oxide, silicon nitride, aluminum oxide, tin oxide, titanium oxide, or indium-tin oxide. SOLUTION: This ultraviolet-curing resin composition contains a dihydric alcohol compound (A), a cationically polymerizable compound (B), and a cationic photopolymerization initiator (C), wherein the dihydric alcohol compound (A) is contained in a ratio of 20-60 mass% based on the ultraviolet-curing resin composition, the dihydric alcohol compound (A) has a hydroxy equivalent of 400-6,000, the cationically polymerizable compound (B) is contained in a ratio of 40-80 mass% based on the ultraviolet-curing resin composition, and the cationically polymerizable compound (B) contains an epoxy compound of glycidyl ether type in an amount of≥80 mass%.
