PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stencil printing device by which a printed matter with neither an image blur nor variations of printing density can be obtained by preventing the occurrence of a spoiled printed matter even when drums are used by being replaced with each other. SOLUTION: A drum unit 11 is provided with a storage means 7a for storing the time when the drum unit 11 is used last. When a leaving time of the drum unit 11, which is calculated from the time stored in the storage means 7a of the drum unit 11 mounted to a printing device body 1 and current time, exceeds the length of a preset time, a control means 3 of the printing device body 1 executes automatic idling operation prior to the next platemaking operation.
