PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely remove foreign matters adhering to thermal color recording paper in a simple arrangement. SOLUTION: A guide plate 30 for guiding recording paper 10 to a carrying route is arranged above a developer 22 of a thermal color printer 2. A hole 31 is drilled on the guide plate 30 to remove foreign matters adhering to recording paper 10. The hole 31 is formed to be tilted to a sub scanning direction S, and also formed such that its opening rate becomes constant to the sub scanning direction S. The air pressure of the developer 22 is made more negative than a guide plate 30 side with a fun 40 for cooling the inside of the printer. Foreign matters adhering to the thermal color paper 10 is surely removed from the hole 31 of the guide plate 30, so that the foreign matters are prevented from re-adhering to the thermal color recording paper 10.
