PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crack repairing method using cathode arc coating and a hot type compression molding process with hydrostatic pressure. SOLUTION: The crack repairing method for metal parts 13 having cracks 15, whereby the crack is washed and oxide layer is removed, and a repairing alloy 17 is applied by at least either of the cathode arc evaporation process and low-pressure plasma metallization so as to cover the crack 15, and the work 13 is heated at a temperature and with pressure enough to block the crack 15.
