PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an acceleration tube where a uniform electroformed layer can be formed on the whole of the outer circumference of the tube structure even in the case of a small-sized acceleration tube such as a C band and an X band. SOLUTION: In the method for producing the acceleration tube 1, a plurality of cylindrical spacers 11 and bottomed disks 13 are alternately superimposed to form a tube structure 3 having an almost cylindrical shape, and thereafter, an electroformed layer 15 is integrally formed on the outer circumference of the tube structure 3, wherein the tube structure 3 is held under pressure in an axial direction by a pressure bar 45 arranged at the outside of the outer circumferential face thereof, an electrode 67 whose inside in a cross-sectional shape is almost circular is arranged between the tube structure 3 and the pressure bar 45 so as to have almost the same axis as that of the tube structure 3, and the tube structure 3 and the electrode 67 are dipped into an electroforming liquid 99, so that electric current is made to flow therebetween to perform electroforming.
