The borer has a rod (1), and a drill bit with conveying coil (2) pushed into the rod. An attachment system (5) causes both the rod and the drill bit to be connected in a rotary manner with each other. A lifting device (4) is fixed to the drill bit and the conveying coil. The lifting device enables the drill bit with the conveying coil to be moved perpendicularly upward over a boring rod extension (6).
