<p>A bra with two breast cups (3, 4), joined together at a mid region. (10) A chest strap (19, 20) extends from each breast cup, to encompass the chest of the wearer. The chest straps (19, 20) are engaged to each breast cup at at least two locations, a first location (C) being above a second location (B). Each breast cup has a panel with a perimeter defining a neckline (6, 7) and a support line (8, 9). The support line is of a continuously curved nature between its upper terminus (C) where a shoulder support strap (13) is located, and its inner terminus where the cups are joined (10) The breast cups each include a longitudinally extending line of inelasticity (26) extending between the first location (C) and the mid region (10).</p> |
