[MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] photocatalyst particles, characterized in that a photocatalyst fine powder such as an apatite-coated titanium dioxide powder is held in hollow shells which are formed by a method of drying in a liquid, with a thermoplastic resin, such as polystyrene, having light permeability, air permeability and water permeability, and in that they have a particle diameter of 1mm or more.
