<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planographic printing method which makes an image directly recorded in a highly sensitive manner from digital data by using an original plate for a planographic printing plate capable of recording the image by means of an infrared laser, which makes on-machine development performed by doing printing without carrying out a wet processing step using an alkaline developer, and which can bring about many good printed matters. <P>SOLUTION: In this original plate for the planographic printing plate, a polymerization initiation layer (I), which contains a polymerization initiator, and an image recording layer (II), which contains an infrared absorber (A), a polymerization initiator (B), a polymerizable compound (C) and a binder polymer (D) and which enables recording using infrared irradiation, are sequentially laminated. After the original plate is exposed to light in an image pattern by using the infrared laser, the printing is done by removing a non-image area by means of a non-alkaline aqueous component and/or printing ink, without applying processing using the alkaline developer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
