<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auto-puncher by which not only punch holes for setting on an offset press can be formed rapidly and with such a high precision to meet color printing, but also the handling safety during the printing can be enhanced by cutting off corners of a press plate. <P>SOLUTION: A register puncher by which punch holes or cuts for setting on a press are formed for a press plate, and corners of the press plate are cut off is provided. The puncher comprises at least a press plate stacking stand which can stack the press plates before punching, a sucking device which sucks only the uppermost press plate and lifts it upward movably, a driving device for moving the sucked press plate, together with the sucking device, to a press plate punching part, a press plate fixing stand having sucking holes which can suck the moved press plate to fix it immovably, an optical reading device for reading, on the press plate fixing stand, positions of at least three segments marked beforehand on the press plate so that they may function as register marks, a one-hole type punching device which is provided for punching at a prescribed spot on the basis of read data and movable integrally with the optical reading device, and an exclusive punching device for cutting off corners of the press plate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
