<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auto light controller for a vehicle capable of determining change from a raining condition to a non-raining condition and controlling a headlight from a turning-on condition to a turning-off condition automatically. <P>SOLUTION: This auto light controller for the vehicle is constituted in such a way that the headlight is turned on when it is determined that it is a non-raining condition from wiping information of a wiper and an external illuminance value is below a first threshold value using 300 lux as the first threshold value and turning-on of the headlight is allowed when it is determined that it is a raining condition and an external illuminance value is below a second threshold value using high 900 lux as the second threshold value. In a vehicle running possible condition, when the headlight is turned on and a calculation average illuminance value obtained by obtaining an average illuminance value of external illuminance per a predetermined period is above a predetermined value (step S23), a threshold value is switched from the second threshold value to the first threshold value, and a threshold value is switched from the second threshold value to the first threshold value when the headlight is turned off and wiping by the wiper is not confirmed for a first predetermined period (step S22). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
