PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate with high accuracy the battery voltage used in correcting errors by an offset value by monitoring the battery voltage and detecting the offset value of a differential amplifier used for monitoring the battery voltage. SOLUTION: Individual voltages of a plurality of batteries that are connected in series or a voltage source and a voltage across both ends of the plurality of the batteries that are connected in series or the voltage source are detected to find the offset value of the differential amplifier by calculation so as to correct the measured values of the battery voltage, by using the obtained offset value.
