PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer ceramic capacitor which can attain miniaturization, lowering of back, and high capacity formation while withstanding high voltage and raising a starting voltage of surface discharge simultaneously. SOLUTION: A first and a second internal electrode groups 30, 40 have first internal electrodes 31, 41, second internal electrodes 32, 42 and third internal electrodes 33, 43. The first internal electrodes 31, 41, the second internal electrodes 32, 42 and the third internal electrodes 33, 43 are arranged by putting dielectric layers 11 between them, so that a plurality of capacitor components C1, C2, which are connected in series between the first internal electrodes 31, 41 and the second internal electrodes 32, 42, may be formed. The number of capacitor components C1 formed in the first internal electrodes group 30 locating at the outermost side of a lamination 10 in laminating direction, is greater than that of capacitor components C2 formed in the second internal electrodes group 40 locating at more inner side than the first internal electrodes group 30.
