PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescence element which can obtain high-intensity luminescence by using energy transmission, and can be manufactured at low cost. SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescence element comprises a luminescent layer which emits light by injecting carriers, and which contains a first organic compound and a second organic compound. The rate of the first organic compound which occupies the organic compound composed of a luminescent layer is 50 mol% or more. The first organic compound is formed in a stable excitation triplet state in room temperature.
