PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize miniaturization by reducing a occupied space of a driving mechanism. SOLUTION: A linear motor 40 functioning as a driving mechanism has a magnet for driving 4002 and a coil 4006, the magnet for driving 4002 has a magnetic pole surface 42 extended in a direction parallel with the optical axis of a third group lens 18, and two different magnetic poles, that is, an N pole 4202 and an S pole 4204 are magnetized and arranged side by side on the magnetic pole surface 42 in the extending direction thereof. The coil 4006 is arranged so that its winding may be wound round an axial line orthogonal to the magnetic pole surface 42 and its winding end face 4006A may face the magnetic pole surface 42.
