PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a curable resin composition containing an epoxy acrylate resin, having high freedom in the adjustment of molecular weight and introducing amount of unsaturated bond, exhibiting excellent dry touch property, curability, mechanical properties of the cured product, etc. SOLUTION: The method for producing a branched polyether resin composition comprises the reaction of the hydroxyl group in (A) an aromatic bifunctional epoxy resin monomethacrylate and/or (B) an aromatic bifunctional epoxy resin dimethacrylate with the epoxy group in (A) and/or (C) an aromatic bifunctional epoxy resin in a reaction system containing (A) and optionally (B) and/or (C) or in a reaction system containing (B) and (C) in the presence of (D) a nitrogen-based catalyst to obtain a resin composition containing (X) a branched polyether rein obtained by the polymerization of the components (A) and/or (B) and one or more unreacted resin components selected from (A), (B) and (C).
