PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil improvement method which excels in economic efficiency and improves its treatment quality by eliminating nonuniformity of mixing or the like. SOLUTION: In the soil improvement method that raw soil and a slurry-type solidification material are treated by mixing and agitating, a correction factor is set in advance as a means for correcting a water/solidification material ratio in addition to a range of a control flow value as a means for controlling the flow value of a treated soil soon after the mixing and agitation treatment. When the flow value of the treated soil soon after the mixing and agitating treatment becomes out of the range of the control flow value, a correct water/solidification material ratio is found based on a difference between a control flow limit value and an implemented flow value in addition to the correction factor. The correct water/solidification material ratio is used as the implementation water/solidification material ratio, and the raw soil and the slurry-type solidification material are treated by mixing and agitation.
