PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the chamfering-provided portion 4 inconspicuous as much as possible and enable the overflowing adhesive 50 to be removed nearly completely in performing the chamfering processing for the apex angle portion 3 of a protruded corner pillar A. SOLUTION: The chamfering processing of the apex angle portion 3 in the protruded corner pillar A, which is formed by joining two boards with an adhesive so as to form the apex angle portion 3, is performed by using a rotary cutter 10 equipped with a cutting blade 11 having a helix angle, by cutting while moving the rotary cutter 10 upward and downward so as to follow unevenness produced on the edge of the apex angle portion 3 of the protruded corner pillar A.
