PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mascara brush obtaining a higher volume increase effect of eyelashes without lengthening brush bristles, and hardly causing the sticking unevenness of mascara liquid to the eyelashes. SOLUTION: The mascara brush is formed by holding a brush part formed by fitting brush bristles radially to a core member, to a shaft part. The brush part is provided with at least one axially continuous cutout of groove shape having an approximately V-shaped cross section with the angle of V-shape being 20-80°.
