PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide packaged green tea beverage having strong delicious taste and body, suppressed in astringency and well-balanced in delicious taste and astringency. SOLUTION: The packaged green tea beverage contains at least amino acid components comprising theanine and arginine, and tannin. The green tea beverage has (a) amino acid component concentration of 20-200 mg/L, (b) weight ratio of amino acid components/tannin of 0.1-1.5 and (c) weight ratio of arginine/theanine of 0.05-0.60.
