PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for identifying the function of a protein, by which the function of the protein can simply be identified. SOLUTION: This method for identifying the function of the protein is characterized by identifying the biological activity of the arbitrary first protein with the amino acid sequence of the first protein and a complementary mRNA for a mRNA encoding the sequence.
