PURPOSE:To considerably compress a direct read type code conversion table well known as a data conversion table at the data processor equipped with the data conversion table. CONSTITUTION:In the case of preparing a difference table concerning the direct read type code conversion table, data conversion is executed by collecting a base value, slice thickness and slice residue at every block into tables and using the three tables while utilizing the fact that the numerical value train of the difference table becomes the set of blocks expressed with a part to be sliced at a fixed value and the slice residue composed of the sequence of '0' or '1'. At a direct read type code converting method, the data conversion table can be compressed and time for conversion in the case of arithmetic can be shortened. |
