An electronic camera system comprising a photographing ordering system and a photographing system, wherein the photographing system includes an imaging element for photographing a subject to create an image signal, a camera-side communication unit for communicating with a photographing ordering device, a subject judging unit for judging whether or not the subject is an object of photographing at or after photographing based on person identifying data sent from the photographing ordering device, an image processing unit for creating image data using the image signal, and a camera-side control unit for extracting image data obtained by photographing the object of photographing based on the judgment result by the subject judging unit and sending the extracted image data to the photographing ordering device.
