A motor provided with an armature body having a field body provided with a plurality of field poles, and a plurality of coils disposed on the radial-direction outer side of the field body. A commutator fixed to the armature body has a plurality of segments to which coils are respectively connected. The motor is also provided with a feeding unit for supplying a current to the coils and a brush holder fixed to the field body. The brush holder houses an anode-side brush device in sliding contact with the commutator and the feeding unit, and a cathode-side brush device in sliding contact with the commutator and the feeding unit. Accordingly, the work efficiency of coils can be improved.
