<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor mounted air conditioner enabling a reduction in the number of parts while securing safety when a filter is maintained. <P>SOLUTION: In this floor mounted air conditioner 1, an air before air conditioning is sucked through the air filter 11, and the air-conditioned air is discharged. The air conditioner comprises a fan 3, a casing 4, and a front lower panel 9. The casing 4 stores the fan 3 therein. The front lower panel 9 is installed openably from the casing 4, and opened outward from the casing 4. Also, the front lower panel 9 comprises a filter storage part 91 storing the air filter 11 and a safe rib part 97. The filter storage part 91 allows the air filter 11 to be attached and detached by opening the front lower panel. The safe rib part 97 is formed integrally with the filter storage part 91, and when the front lower panel 9 is opened and a space S is produced between the casing 4 and the filter storage part 91, stops the access of the casing 4 from the outside to the fan 3 through the space S. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
