摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resonator with a piezoelectric ceramics resonator element which is excellent in free fall robustness. <P>SOLUTION: The resonator is provided with the piezoelectric ceramics resonator element 2 in which a vibrating electrode is formed, and a base plate 3 which supports the piezoelectric ceramics resonator element 2. The piezoelectric ceramics resonator element 2 satisfies a conditionσ<SB>b</SB>≥11.6×H+171.5 (here, H: falling height (m),σ<SB>b</SB>: 3-point flexural strength (MPa), H>1). The base plate 3 is provided with terminal electrodes 31, 32, the piezoelectric ceramics resonator element 2 makes the vibrating electrode conduct via a conductive stator 4, and at the same time, can be applied to a resonator 1 which is supported in both ends by the base plate 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p>
