<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clean and sterilize the teats of diary animals effectively before milking them. <P>SOLUTION: The subject automatic milking machine 10 is characterized in that it is equipped with a milking unit 11 for automatically milking the diary animals, a hypochlorous acid water-producing means 40 for producing the hypochlorous acid water and a hypochlorous acid water-feeding means 45 for feeding the hypochlorous acid water to the milking unit 11. The milking unit 11 is equipped with a milking robot 13 for automatically attaching a teat cup 12 on the teat of the diary animal and milking, and a first controlling part 18 for controlling the milking robot 13. The milking robot 13 is equipped with a teat-cleaning means 14 for cleaning the teat T by using the hypochlorous acid water. The hypochlorous acid-producing means 40 is equipped with a production device 41 of the hypochlorous acid and a second controlling part 42 for controlling the production device 41.
