<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a mobile IP client during receiving multicast content to continue to receive the content in a moving destination area, without re-requiring the content, even if the client moves from an area where it is in the middle of receiving the content. <P>SOLUTION: In performing mutlicast distribution to a first area on the basis of a request from the client, a multicast control apparatus subordinating the first area transmits the content identification information, first area identification information and client identification information, to a multicast area management apparatus. The multicast management apparatus detects the movement of the client, on the basis of information received from a home agent device and transmits the information after movement to a multicast control apparatus subordinating a second area.
