<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater 11 capable of preventing the hot water/water in a bath tub 12 from flowing into a hot water storage tank 15 even when a heat exchanger 22 bores, in water failure. <P>SOLUTION: The bath tub 12 and the heat exchanger 22 in the hot water storage tank 15 are connected by a going-passage 24 and a returning-passage 25 of a circulation pipe 23, and a hot water supply pipe 36 is connected with an electric three-way valve 27 mounted on the going-passage 24. When the hot water is supplied to the bath tub 12, the hot water supply pipe 36 and the going-passage 24 are communicated by the electric three-way valve 27, and the hot water from the hot water supply pipe 36 is supplied to the bath tub 12. When the hot water/water in the bath tub 12 is circulated, a hot water supply pipe 36 side is closed by the electric three-way valve 27 in a state of opening the going passage 24, and the hot water/water in the bath tub 12 is circulated to the heat exchanger 22 to be reheated. The going-passage 24 is closed in a standby state of the electric three-way valve 27. A check valve 28 is mounted on the returning-passage 25 for preventing the reverse flow of the hot water/water from the bath tub 12 to the heat exchanger 22. In standby, the flow of the hot water/water from the bath tub 12 side to a heat exchanger 22 side is prevented in both of the going-passage 24 and the returning-passage 25 of the circulation pipe 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
