PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for molding a synthetic resin film material which does not need a mold, can form a convexly curved surface in the film material by a simple apparatus, and can easily correspond to enlargement and a method for producing a film panel using the film material. SOLUTION: In the method for molding the synthetic resin film material in which creep elongation is increased under high temperatures and high pressure, the fringe part of the film material 10 is fixed, and at least the fringe part is heated while the whole surface of the film material 10 is pressurized, so that the film material 10 is formed in the shape of a convexly curved surface.
