PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature sensor housing mechanism capable of easily fixing a temperature sensor to a housing bush. SOLUTION: By inserting the temperature sensor 10 into a cylindrical packing 70, a flange 16 of the temperature sensor 10 is fitted into an internal groove 72 of the packing 70, and the packing 70 is mounted on the temperature sensor 10. By inserting the packing 70 into the housing bush 30 in this condition to engage a protruded piece 74 of the packing 70 with a notch 42 of a cylindrical wall 40, the temperature sensor 10 is easily fixed to the housing bush 30.
