PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal in which each operating part of a second case can be easily operated while the display of a first case is being looked at. SOLUTION: The mobile terminal 10 has a first case 13 provided with a display 11, a second case 14 arranged adjacently to the first case 13, and a connecting shaft 16 arranged orthogonally to a boundary surface 15 of the first case 13 and a second case 14 so that the first case 13 and the second case 14 are relatively rotatably connected. The mobile terminal 10 also has operating units 17, 18 arranged on different outer surfaces of the second case 14 rotating in different directions, respectively, for performing operations relating to displaying performance of the display unit 11. One of the operating units 17 or 18 can be selectively arranged on the same side as the display unit 11 by making the first case 13 and the second case 14 relatively rotate at the center of the connecting shaft 16.
