PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire and a cable with excellent workability with which material recycle can be performed even using an insulator material having a cross-linked structure. SOLUTION: A conductor 2 is covered with an insulator 3 prepared by blending 0 to 50 pts.wt. of one kind or two or more kinds of spolyolefin resin with 50 to 100 pts.wt. of a heat-reversible polyolefine, and covered with a sheath 4 made of non halogen flame retardant polyethylene or a polyvinyl chloride compound.
