PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and thin magnetic disk device, a clamper for the magnetic disk device and an assembly device for the magnetic disk device. SOLUTION: The magnetic disk device 1 is provided with: a medium 25; a motor hub 21 arranged with a hollow cylinder part to be clamped 21A rotating around a fixed shaft, a media fitting shaft 21B for fitting the medium 25 and a support part for supporting one surface of the medium 25; a ring-formed elastic body 27 for pressing the other surface of the medium 25 to the support part at the outer periphery of the part to be clamped 21A; and the clamper 26 in a ring shape shrink fit to the part to be clamped 21A in the state of pressing the elastic body 27 to the medium 25.
