PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data communication device and a data communication method capable of restraining the receipt of unnecessary data on a designation side without increasing the load of a network or the like, and a data communication program and a storage medium therefor. SOLUTION: In an image input and output device 10, an address storage part 501 transmits, in the case that an input E-MAIL address of a transmitting destination is matched to a preliminarily stored E-MAIL address, the input E-MAIL address of the transmitting designation to a permitted ID storage part 502. The permitted ID storage part 502 transmits a permitted ID corresponding to the E-MAIL address to a permitted ID collation part 503. The permitted ID collation part 503 displays, in the case that an input transmitter ID is not matched with the permitted ID transmitted from the storage part 502, a message that the transmission of image data to the E-MAIL address of the transmitting destination inputted by a transmitter is not permitted on a display part of an operation part 210.
