PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotophotographic photoreceptor for wet development superior in solvent resistance and ozone proofness a polycarbonate resin of a specific molecular weight as a binder resin, and to provide an image forming apparatus for wet development provided with it. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor for wet development provided with a photoreceptor layer containing the binder resin, a hole transport agent, an electron transport agent and a charge generating agent and the image forming apparatus for wet development provided with it contain the polycarbonate resin as the binder resin, and make a viscosity average molecular weight of the polycarbonate a value in the range of 60,000-80,000.
