PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a moving speed of a lens in an optical axis direction by positively utilizing magnetic interference. SOLUTION: The directions of a first line of magnetic flux M1 formed by a magnet for driving 4006 and a second line of magnetic flux M2 formed by a magnet for detecting a position 7004 are the same at a magnetic interference point P where the first line of magnetic flux M1 and the second line of magnetic flux M2 are crossed with each other. The force Fx of a component in a direction parallel with an optical axis out of magnetic reaction force F acts on a third lens holding frame 1802. When driving current is supplied to the coil 4006 and the third lens holding frame 1802 is moved backward in the optical axis direction, the force Fx acts on the third lens holding frame 1802 in addition to driving force by a linear motor 40, and the moving speed of the third lens holding frame 1802 is increased by the force Fx.
