PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a high quality image by preventing the occurrence of luminance unevenness at each block boundary in an electrooptical apparatus. SOLUTION: The electrooptical apparatus comprises; N pieces of image signal lines 171-1 to 171-12 to which N pieces of image signals which are serial-parallel converted are supplied; a plurality of branch lines each of which is connected to one corresponding line of the N pieces of image signal lines 171-1 to 171-12 respectively; a sampling circuit including a plurality of sampling switches for supplying the supplied image signals of the plurality of branch lines respectively, to data lines according to a sampling signal; and a data line driving circuit for sequentially supplying the sampling signal. One plurality of lines of the plurality of branch lines and N pieces of image signal lines 171-1 to 171-12, include upper and lower shift sections 171a-1 to 171a-12 which are formed so that line resistance values of the one plurality of lines may come close to each other.
