PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting magnet with an excellent heat diffusion property and an insulation property capable of suppressing the generation of a bubble in resin at pouring and the rise of the temperature of a coil at energization, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The lifting magnet 10 is provided with a coil 1 for excitation; a magnetic pole comprising an inner pole 2 and an outer pole 3 arranged inside and outside the coil 1; a yoke 4 for connecting the inner pole 2 and the outer pole 3; a bottom plate 5 being a holding member of the coil 1; and a casting resin 6 poured for the insulation and fixing of the coil 1. The casting resin 6 is formed of an epoxy resin, a curing agent, an accelerator, and a filling agent comprising silica. The heat conductivity of the casting resin 6 is made to 0.4 W/(mK) or higher. Since the casting resin 6 has appropriate viscosity, it can be poured by a vacuum impregnation method. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
